Market Traders Enquiries
Chesterfield Market occupies an unrivalled position in Chesterfield Town Centre. Flanked many major national retailers, banks and building societies, the market place offers market traders an ideal opportunity to either start a business or to expand.

Trading starts officially at 10 am when the surrounding roads are closed to all vehicular traffic. At 4 p.m. the road to the south of the market is open to disabled shoppers. Trading ceases generally at 4:30 p.m.
Stalls are allocated to first time casual traders at 9 am on the second floor of the market hall – office directly under the clock tower. Established traders from other local markets will be accommodated earlier by agreement.

Stall charges range from £13 for an eight foot inside stall to £25 for a twelve foot outside stall. There is a charge of 70p for lighting and trader’s car parking is available on the Durrant Road Car park at a nominal charge.
