Farmer's Market: On the second Thursday of each month, Chesterfield Market hosts the increasingly popular Farmers Market. Specialist traders from across the East Midlands crowd onto Low Pavement selling speciality goods from local farms and workshops.

Mediaeval Market: Tuesday 27th July 2004 - In July each year, usually the last Tuesday, the market place is turned into a Mediaeval Market where many local charities use the stalls to publicise their work and to boost their funds. The bottom of Market Square is set out as a fairground with many popular amusement rides.
